Cruz's Haircut!

Cruz's hair is short again! It's the second time that he has had a real haircut. The very first time wasn't "real" because Jay is not a professional when it comes to haircuts and Cruz had to be taken in to get that fixed! Thanks Jay ;) Jay said it was because Cruz feel asleep. Whatev, soooo back to Cruz....it's like everything about him changes when his hair is short. It's seems like he grows an inch taller, he talks more and gets a new attitude!!! I swear, it's so weeeeiiiird! :o
Or maybe I just need to learn to let go!
Noooo, it's the Hair!

Look how handsome!!....

This boy has everyone's heart; from his Daddy, to his "Sissy" (Jayda), and "Nay" (Nevaeh), we do anything and everything for him, he's our Babyboy! What do ya expect! ;)

Jay took this picture last week and I stole it! Momma's boy. <3

Click on pic below: it's a video of Cruz doing his "Stinky face" with his big boy haircut! His does this face when he dances...Too cute!

We like fixin' things and holding Mama's hand

So I love it when Jay sends me a picture or a video of what him and his buckaroo are up to on his days off. They always make me smile and even though it makes me miss them even more, I love the pics!

"Good Morning Mom"

Look at my boys!

When I see them; it reminds me of that song by Rodney Atkins "Watching you".....(lyrics below)

Drivin through town just my boy and me
With a 'Happy Meal' in his booster seat
Knowin that he couldn't have the toy til his nuggets were gone

A green traffic light turned straight to red
I hit in my brakes and mumbled under my breath
His fries went a flyin? and his orange drink covered his lap

Well, then my 4 year old said a 4 letter word
It started with 'S' and I was concerned
So I said, Son, now where'd you learn to talk like that??

He said, I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are?

"We got cowboy boots and camo pants
Yeah, we're just alike, hey, ain't we dad
I want to do everything you do
So I've been watching you"

We got back home and I went to the barn
I bowed my head and I prayed real hard
Said, Lord, please help me help my stupid self

Just this side of bedtime later that night
Turnin on my son's Scooby-doo night light
He crawled out of bed and he got down on his knees

He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands
Spoke to God like he was talkin to a friend
And I said, Son, now where'd you learn to pray like that??

He said, "I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are"

"We like fixin things and holding mama's hand
Yeah, we're just alike, hey, ain't we dad?
I want to do everything you do
So I've been watching you"

With tears in my eyes I wrapped him in a hug
Said, My little bear is growin up
And he said, But when I'm big
I'll still know what to do
Cause I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are"

"By then I'll be strong as superman
We'll be just alike, hey, won't we dad?
When I can do everything you do
'Cause I've been watching you"

When I hear it and think of my son I get a little teary-eyed...I'm not going to lie! :)

And I appreciate BOTH of them coming out to change my BUSTED tire at 8am today when I was 5 minutes away from my work!.....

They will always be my hereos!! ;)

My little cheerios!

Let me just tell you that I am soo proud of all the Wildcat Cheerleaders! We had our first game this weekend and I have to say: that is the HOTTEST game that I can remember! It was 3pm, no clouds, no shade, no breeze and we had all our football and cheer working their butts off. It was ridiculously HOT! My nose and cheeks were sunburnt...SMH. Let me share the few pics I was able to get, starting with Fridays pep rally.

Nevaeh and Jayda all ready for pep rally! Cuties!

Boys meet girls...

Wildcats Cheerleaders 2010...

Showing me their PAW POWER!...

Cheering the boys on at our first game. I love their Names on their chairs! Big Thanks to Amanda! You can check out her website  http://www.babychiclittleboutique.com/

This was Cruz loving every minute of spraying the girls down...

Who's next?...

I'm sure he will be chasing after his sisters friends like this years to come! Lucky him ;)

So after the game I had to pick up Breanna's cake for babyshower of Boy #3- Grayson Dax Davis! I asked her what she wanted and I get this (which let me add she drew!) Yes, she has enough time on her hands to draw this hehe.....

:) And per her request we ended up with this...

Not too bad! :) Congrats Breanna and Wesley!

Later on Saturday night we joined Angelica for her 28th bday celebration at Dave and Busters aka Chuck E Cheese for adults! It was fun, I beat Jay at Guitar Hero! LOL

Angelia and I....Happy 28th bday!

Daisy came along too with her new phone thinking she's the shiz...jk!

I'm usually a margarita-on-the-rocks-kind-of-girl, but these Frozen ones were delicious!! And some how Angelica complained about something and we got cheese and hot sauce on the house! Ahaha!!!

Today I got to sleep in until 10am! Then I picked up the kiddos from my mom's to get ready and head to Bre's baby shower where my kids decided to start being rowdy so I decide to leave a bit early, but when I look up to check on them a few minutes after being in car- they are both sound asleep....

Arggggghhh I swear they do that on purpose every time. :)

So now that the Cowboys game made me stay up past my bedtime to watch a losing game....my bed is calling me! Good night!

A day off?

I was hoping the rain would continue so I would have a valid excuse to stay in bed and waste my day away. No rain! I've decided to get things done today. I was actually pretty shocked how I woke up at 6:20am feeling rested. So up I got to make lunches, check folders and drop girls off at school by 7:30am.

FYI: I don't care what anyone says this Smucker's idea of P&J in ONE is the best idea ever. It makes my job so much easier! :) Jayda loves her sandwiches!....

So this day (that has now turned into being productive) should include:

Gym
Laundry
Shopping
Nap
Pick up girls
Homework
Cheer practice
Dinner
Bathes
Bed

Gotta get to it I only have 6 hrs remaining until school let's out and we're half way through list! :) Hope everyone stays dry.

Our "Staycation"

After spending the weekend in Dallas and watching one of our favorite artist perform; I can say we made some great memories over the last few days. All because we treated ourselves for our 6 year anniversary! Everyone deserves to get away and rekindle that romance every once in a while. (4 years overdue for us!) :)

Aaaah what a great Labor Day weekend!

Don't get me wrong I did miss my babies! I thought about them every second. We joked about how quiet it was and I missed their laughter and fighting more than I thought I would. I was glad to hear the girls enjoyed themselves as well. A BIG thanks to The Yorks for their help and my sister and mother in law who took Cruz. I'm blessed to have everyones help when needed.

When we first arrived to our hotel to check in I spotted TWITCH from SYTYCD and Step it up 3d! I sent my little brother the picture below and he was a bit envious! ;)

Me: After watching you on SYTYCD and then watching you in Step it Up I felt like I knew you!
Twitch: Yeah we spent some long weeks together. LOL
He then told Jay he was here for the John Mayer concert and that he was excited about going to his (John Mayers) first concert. He was a really nice guy! I like him even more. :)

After checking in and dropping off luggage we headed to the John Mayer concert. I will have to post more pictures from my camera when I get a chance, but all I say about him is: His performance was AWESOME!!! We had a blast! He's so talented and SILLY; he had us laughing and when he would sing he gave me chills! Uh-mazing voice!

Owl City opening act....

Waiting for JM!...

Sippin on a frozen margarita!....

I LOVE JM!!!...

Now if only I can watch Robin Thicke (first row, please) then I can die a happy lady ;)

Sunday we were poolside all day! Loved loved the cabanas look how cute and relaxing!! I would definitely do this again.

All ready for dinner...

We hit up the bar for liquor too! ;) ...

Here is Jay after we had checked out. I love him and this picture! ....

Thanks for everything you did to make this special for US. I hope we have many many many more years together!!! XOXO
