Valentine's Day 2012
It started with Daddy taking his beautiful girls to the sweetheart
dance at school. On Valentine's day the girls woke up to their heart shaped chocolate from Dad. I got them Valentine's card that had a pin attached that read "Yup, I'm loved" and Yup, I made them wear it. Abraham got Jayda a card and necklace that said "Best Friends" Jayda said Abraham's half was blue. The drawing was so cute! I was off on Valentine's day morning so I got to personally deliver flowers and candy to my Grandma, Mom, Grandpa and Dad. It felt great seeing their reaction. I will never forget it! I love Valentine's day and so does my family! Thanks to the husband for flowers, chocolate, card and movies! :)

2012
I cannot believe it has been soooo long since my last post! My kids are growing so fast and it's making the years fly by. Along with work, photography and family and friends...there is little time for anything. But, it is a new year and I want to pick back up with my blogging. So here I go! :)
12/15/10
That's a wrap!...or is it??? ;)
2010 is coming to an end and I am NOT one bit sad about about, but I am so excited for 2011 because I know business will be booming... My new photography business that is!:) Whoo hoo!! If you haven't already- take a look at our new website www.sweetsoulphotos.com! I don't think I will have much time to keep up with 3 kids, 2 blogs, 2 jobs and a website so I am sad to say that my personal blog will be neglected more than usual :( Please forgive me.

The movie Tangled
Nevaeh and Jayda [with their Tangled kiddie packs]

Nevaeh, Jayda, Caelyn and Zoraya after the movie.

My girls and I

What fun we had at the movies on Sunday for "Girls' day!". Every couple of months my friend Angelica and I, like to take our girls (ages 9, 8, 5 and 3) to a movie. This time we watched Tangled and I must say: I want it on DVD! Yes, it was that cute! I can still hear Caelyn and Jayda laughing out loud. They enjoyed it just as much. It still feels surreal when we hang out and take our daughters out too because we stop that not that long ago WE were TEENS cruising the mall and here we are at the mall trying to please our daughters. Time sure does fly!...because I still feel 15, yeah right. (sigh) And that is why I never forget how special those friends are; the ones that take time out of their day to want to hang out with us. Especially the kind of close friends that you can always pick back up where you left off! :) I always leave feeling more grateful because even though I may not have it all, my friends and family make me FEEL like that's all I need. Can't wait for our next movie date! <3

Meet Abraham
So Jayda has a "best friend" in her kindergarten class. His name is Abraham and this was them on his birthday a few weeks ago...

The story for today was Jayda told me she hit her head at the playground during recess. I of course always ask Did you tell your teacher? What did she say? What did she do? Especially when she tells me she was crying. So she continues to tell me her story. She said she was sitting down and Abraham walks up to her and says "Why are you crying?" Jayda answers, "Because I hit my head on the bars." Abraham says "Do you have a bump?" Jayda says "Yes." he says "I get bumps all the time too." Jayda then tells me "he put his hand on my back like this (while she pats my back) and then tries to take my hands away from my face and I was trying not to let him see me so then I start laughing and he makes me chase him." I laugh and say "So did you feel better after that, it stopped hurting?" she said "Yeah." and just like that she was all better! It makes me feel good that even though I can't be with her 24/7 to kiss her boo boos she already has good friends to help her through her day. Jayda is so likable at school she knows everyone so when she sees someone outside of school she says to me "Wait right here mom I gotta go say hi to my friend" and I stand there, waiting, thinking to myself, "Really. She's 5, what am I going to do with her later?!" Ay Jayda, her childhood stories could make me lots of money if I would write a book all about her. :)

Cruz's Haircut!
Cruz's hair is short again! It's the second time that he has had a real haircut. The very first time wasn't "real" because Jay is not a professional when it comes to haircuts and Cruz had to be taken in to get that fixed! Thanks Jay ;) Jay said it was because Cruz feel asleep. Whatev, soooo back to Cruz....it's like everything about him changes when his hair is short. It's seems like he grows an inch taller, he talks more and gets a new attitude!!! I swear, it's so weeeeiiiird! :o
Or maybe I just need to learn to let go!
Noooo, it's the Hair!
Look how handsome!!....

This boy has everyone's heart; from his Daddy, to his "Sissy" (Jayda), and "Nay" (Nevaeh), we do anything and everything for him, he's our Babyboy! What do ya expect! ;)
Jay took this picture last week and I stole it! Momma's boy. <3

Click on pic below: it's a video of Cruz doing his "Stinky face" with his big boy haircut! His does this face when he dances...Too cute!

We like fixin' things and holding Mama's hand
So I love it when Jay sends me a picture or a video of what him and his buckaroo are up to on his days off. They always make me smile and even though it makes me miss them even more, I love the pics!
"Good Morning Mom"

Look at my boys!

When I see them; it reminds me of that song by Rodney Atkins "Watching you".....(lyrics below)
Drivin through town just my boy and me
With a 'Happy Meal' in his booster seat
Knowin that he couldn't have the toy til his nuggets were gone
A green traffic light turned straight to red
I hit in my brakes and mumbled under my breath
His fries went a flyin? and his orange drink covered his lap
Well, then my 4 year old said a 4 letter word
It started with 'S' and I was concerned
So I said, Son, now where'd you learn to talk like that??
He said, I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are?
"We got cowboy boots and camo pants
Yeah, we're just alike, hey, ain't we dad
I want to do everything you do
So I've been watching you"
We got back home and I went to the barn
I bowed my head and I prayed real hard
Said, Lord, please help me help my stupid self
Just this side of bedtime later that night
Turnin on my son's Scooby-doo night light
He crawled out of bed and he got down on his knees
He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands
Spoke to God like he was talkin to a friend
And I said, Son, now where'd you learn to pray like that??
He said, "I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are"
"We like fixin things and holding mama's hand
Yeah, we're just alike, hey, ain't we dad?
I want to do everything you do
So I've been watching you"
With tears in my eyes I wrapped him in a hug
Said, My little bear is growin up
And he said, But when I'm big
I'll still know what to do
Cause I've been watching you, dad ain't that cool?
I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you
And eat all my food, and grow as tall as you are"
"By then I'll be strong as superman
We'll be just alike, hey, won't we dad?
When I can do everything you do
'Cause I've been watching you"
When I hear it and think of my son I get a little teary-eyed...I'm not going to lie! :)
And I appreciate BOTH of them coming out to change my BUSTED tire at 8am today when I was 5 minutes away from my work!.....

They will always be my hereos!! ;)

My little cheerios!
Let me just tell you that I am soo proud of all the Wildcat Cheerleaders! We had our first game this weekend and I have to say: that is the HOTTEST game that I can remember! It was 3pm, no clouds, no shade, no breeze and we had all our football and cheer working their butts off. It was ridiculously HOT! My nose and cheeks were sunburnt...SMH. Let me share the few pics I was able to get, starting with Fridays pep rally.
Nevaeh and Jayda all ready for pep rally! Cuties!

Boys meet girls...

Wildcats Cheerleaders 2010...

Showing me their PAW POWER!...

Cheering the boys on at our first game. I love their Names on their chairs! Big Thanks to Amanda! You can check out her website http://www.babychiclittleboutique.com/

This was Cruz loving every minute of spraying the girls down...

Who's next?...

I'm sure he will be chasing after his sisters friends like this years to come! Lucky him ;)
So after the game I had to pick up Breanna's cake for babyshower of Boy #3- Grayson Dax Davis! I asked her what she wanted and I get this (which let me add she drew!) Yes, she has enough time on her hands to draw this hehe.....

:) And per her request we ended up with this...

Not too bad! :) Congrats Breanna and Wesley!
Later on Saturday night we joined Angelica for her 28th bday celebration at Dave and Busters aka Chuck E Cheese for adults! It was fun, I beat Jay at Guitar Hero! LOL
Angelia and I....Happy 28th bday!

Daisy came along too with her new phone thinking she's the shiz...jk!

I'm usually a margarita-on-the-rocks-kind-of-girl, but these Frozen ones were delicious!! And some how Angelica complained about something and we got cheese and hot sauce on the house! Ahaha!!!

Today I got to sleep in until 10am! Then I picked up the kiddos from my mom's to get ready and head to Bre's baby shower where my kids decided to start being rowdy so I decide to leave a bit early, but when I look up to check on them a few minutes after being in car- they are both sound asleep....

Arggggghhh I swear they do that on purpose every time. :)
So now that the Cowboys game made me stay up past my bedtime to watch a losing game....my bed is calling me! Good night!
