Father's Day 2010

Daddy got a new watch, lunch, a stroll in the park, annnnd he got to watch Toy Story 3. Great Father's Day if you ask me! :)

We can't forget about church. I think I finally found a church where I can feel comfortable and I can find what I need to feed my soul. Not to mention the girls looooove Sunday school. They went to Vacation bible school for the first time and they had a blast!

Baby Baby Baby oooooh!

This is Cruz singing Jusin Beiber on a car ride. The faces he makes; make the video priceless!! He picked that up from Big sisters Nevaeh and Jayda who love singing to this CD almost everyday. My kids are so silly! LOVE 'EM!

When is summer?

A few more days of school and this (according to Nevaeh) is when she knows it's summer. It's her poem she brought from school today.

When is summer?
When tasty ice cream melts and
Yummy yogurt drips
When colorful birds fly and
Fireworks Explode!
Then, it is summer.

Memorial Day Weekend!

Friday night was pretty relaxing. We meet with the Yorks for dinner at Chilli's then headed back home. It's nice to have couple friends to share conversations and everyday life stories with and it's even better knowing they will never judge. The Yorks are good people. We had to call it an early night around 10:30pm though because it was a long week and we had a busy weekend ahead.

Jayda at dinner looking adorable.

Saturday I ended up taking the kids to the Emma's birthday party at CEC. It was all 3 kids and just me (Dad was working) I was amazed that everyone made it out without any melt downs! That includes me. :)

<3

Still smiling...

Later that night it was time for some "Mommy juice" while we celebrated my primo Homer for his birthday. Jay brought the turntables that had us out past 3am.

I can listen to his music all day and night. Music feeds the soul!

Sunday was Family Funday which means Daddy was off work and he could join in on the fun. After getting my car washed we had Snow cones (first!) then we had a yummy lunch at On the Border.

Here is Jayda and Cruz mesmerized by the sounds, water and lights at the carwash.

Carwashing places still have that affect on me like they did when I was a kid, I get sucked into watching everytime also. We had some extra time so walked into Petco to watch their faces as they checked out the UGLY reptiles like snakes and iguanas!

Sooo gross who would want these as pets?? and this iguana is possessed...My kids can look, but never in my home...

I won't tell you what I thought about when I saw the turtle turtle!

We took the kids to watch "Shrek the final chapter" it was an awesome Sunday.

Going to the movies.

Cruz with his tub of popcorn.

Monday I got to hang out with Bre and her family; we went swimming then we had a cookout at my sister's house with my brother and favorite little cousin Isis!

Fun in the sun! Look at Cruzzy's face. They are too cute for words.

One of my BFF Bre and our boyz!

I love my son!

The kids crashed on our way home [like I knew they would]...

What a great weekend. I didn't want it to end. Good thing I have this lovely sunburn to remind me of the FUN ;)

Now the count down is on for this weekend...because it will be Summa Tiiiime! I hope everyone enjoyed their days off as well and a special Thank you to all the Military Heroes. Past and Present.
